resortlife.travel has been booking Maldives resort holidays since 2006 and now represents more than 180 resorts. We're also a travel-tech company. Our site runs an AI concierge, an AI-powered resort map and a voice engine. We need an experienced podcast host and producer to lead our show about the Maldives, its resorts, travel and hospitality.
What you'll do:
- Research and book guests, such as resort managers, chefs, marine biologists, travel creators and hospitality leaders
- Host and lead interviews, on camera and in audio, that are relaxed, well prepared and worth watching
- Plan each episode, from topic and research notes to questions and run-of-show
- Manage shoots, both remote recordings and on location at resorts, working with our video editor on the final cut
- Help shape the show's format, schedule and clips for social media
What we're looking for:
- 4+ years of experience hosting or producing a podcast, video show or interview series
- Episodes or interviews you hosted or produced that we can watch or listen to
- Strong spoken English and natural, confident on-camera presence
- Proven guest research and outreach, with a track record of booking good guests
- Solid episode planning: research briefs, question lists and run-of-show
- Experience coordinating remote recordings and on-location shoots with crews and guests
- Travel, hospitality or lifestyle work is a plus
- Comfort working remotely to deadlines
What we offer:
- Fully remote role
- Access to some of the most beautiful resorts in the world and the people who run them
- Salary: US$500–1,000 per month (CTC US$6,000–12,000/year)
