We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the owner of a small bookkeeping practice with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals, experience with QuickBooks Online, and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, transaction categorization, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate and organized client financial records.
• Help prepare financial reports, summaries, and supporting documentation.
• Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow established bookkeeping procedures and client-specific workflows.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online to record and manage financial transactions.
• Provide administrative support related to bookkeeping as needed.
Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles, including debits, credits, and reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
