Following our growth across Europe and our expansion into North America, we are now building our presence in the United Arab Emirates. We are looking for a Palantir Foundry Engineer to join us in Abu Dhabi. This role is based in the UAE and includes relocation from Switzerland with full immigration and relocation support.

Requirements
About the Role
As one of the first members of Unit8’s team in the UAE, you will help deliver Foundry solutions for clients while contributing to the growth of our presence in the region.
You will work directly with client teams to understand their data and operational challenges, then design and build solutions that address them. The role combines hands-on engineering with close collaboration across business and technical teams. You will also contribute your technical perspective during early client discussions and help shape practical approaches to new opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, deploy and maintain data solutions using Palantir Foundry.

• Develop and troubleshoot data pipelines and processing systems using Foundry and relevant open-source or proprietary technologies.

• Build and maintain Foundry components such as Ontologies, pipelines, and user-facing applications.

• Apply sound engineering practices for testing, data quality, performance, security and maintainability.

• Work with client stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify problems and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, product owners and client teams in an agile environment.

• Contribute to technical discovery and solution scoping for prospective and ongoing engagements.

• Help establish Unit8’s engineering and delivery approach in the UAE, sharing knowledge with colleagues and supporting the growth of the local team.

About You
We are looking for an experienced Palantir Foundry Engineer with a passion for data and solving complex client challenges. You should be a skilled professional who has:
* Foundry Platform Knowledge

• Demonstrated experience with AIP, Workshop, Code repository, and Pipeline Builder.

• A solid understanding of security concepts within Foundry, including restricted views and markings.

• Knowledge of Ontology and Data connection.

• We're interested in the technical details of what you've built and how you approached the architecture of your Foundry use-cases.

* Programming Skills - proficiency in Python and PySpark.
* Data Skills (Nice-to-have) - knowledge of data modeling and basic concepts of data science (classification, clustering, regression).
* Professional Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with the Foundry platform, ideally within a larger company where you may have had a focused but deep exposure.

• Strong client-facing skills: You are comfortable interacting with both business and technical clients, giving presentations, and possess a strong problem-solving mindset.
